Hopefully everyone who wasn’t involved in picking and processing grapes had the chance to put their feet up and relax over the Easter break. It always marks the end of a busy period in the calendar and gives you a chance for a brief reset before getting back into the thick of it again.
At QuayConnect this Easter marked the end of the busiest wine export season we have ever had. Despite the challenges the 2022 year threw at us, the amount of wine we were able to pack for export is a testament to our customers’ top-quality product and the unwavering demand for it around the world. Our financial year-to-date to the end of March (9 months) has seen us 20% ahead of where we were last year. We are looking forward to the 2023 export season in the hopes we have some degree of normality restored (I did however say the same thing last year…). We are preparing for another large export season, and we will be getting in contact with many of you soon to get some insights into what it might be shaping up to look like.
